Golden Wake Tour 2018

Golden wake tour is 3* cable wakeboard IWWF competition with 5 stops this year on 5 different cables with donation of 1800 world ranking points and 4.000 euro cash prize money and other prizes from many our great sponsors. On this competitions during the summer season were fighting hundreds of riders from 11 European countries, as Slovakia, Czech, German, Austrian, Hungarians, Polish, Netherlands, Romania, Great Britain, Belarus and Israel.

First stop 1/5 this year was on May 18.-19. in Czech republic – Těrlická přehrada which only one was just 2* international competition with just 200 world ranking point but there was budget for 770 euro prize money and other gifts from sponsors.Terlo 2018 Weather wasn’t great on this competition but riders for sure enjoyed it anyway same as all officials and fans.

This cable is 4 pylons and 800 metre long, with 11 home made but cool obstacles.

Our second 2/5 stop of this season was on June 23.-24. in Hungarian Györ what was 3* and 400 points international IWWF competition with donation of 700euro prize money and other hundrets of euro in presents from sponsors. Weather and atmosphere on this competition was great and we enjoyed it so much. This place is really lovely and have so many great points for amazing competition. Crazy huge 11 technical obstacles, 5 pylon 722m long, camping place and nice places with fire place to stay together and have great time.Gyor2018

In Open Men finals we had here absolutely incredible level of riders as Lior Sofer, Oliver Orban, Max Milde, Patrik Hanes, Leroy Ney, Jasper van Suchtelen van De Haare, Radovan Hradil and Levente Nagy and their final rides were totally SICK!

The 3/5 Margonin Poland was on 20.-21. of July and it was for sure amazing as all our other stops. I was not there, so I can not tell you much about the cable and surroundings. There was again possible to gain 400 world Margonin
ranking points and 1000euro prize money. On this stop came even European champion 2018 Guy Firer and many other excelent riders. Level of riding was incredible and it looked there like onbattlefield. Riders came from many countries like Israel, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Czech republic, Belarus and so on…

On the 7.-8. of September was 4/5 Brno – Merkur Czech republic there was 5 pylons, 676m long and 10,5m heigh cable with 14 homemade obstacles. Riders could gain 400 world ranking points and 500 euro prizemoney divided in to Ladies panel4 categories: Open men wakeboard, Open men wakeskate, Open Ladies wakeboard and Masters. Weather was amazing and we were surprised with 30 degrees in September. And guess what, we had for the first time full womens only judge panel 🙂

5/5 Bratislava – Wakelake the final destination of our Tour, what I can say, it was great, amazing and wonderful time. Everything on competition went well and as always Partyslava showed us it is worth the name 🙂 We had here 400 world ranking points and 1000euro prize money and so much nice prizes from our sponsors. For winners of the tour we had unbreakable mobile phones from CAT, amazing pillows and duvets from Zaren, the best in what you can sleep in, coffee machines from Tchibo, amazing stuff for wakeboarding from Snowboard Zezula and Mystic and winners of Open categories got Challenge Cup with their names and years on it.
